Each year, a family who is battling cancer is chosen as the beneficiary and we raise funds to help offset some of their financial burden.
The Fishers High School Baseball Team and Dugout Club are honored to have the Doran family as the beneficiary of this year's annual Strike Out Kancer game. Alexa Doran is 13 years old and battling ovarian cancer. Her brother Evan is part of our baseball family. We’re thrilled to say that 100% of the funds raised through this event are going directly to the Doran family.
How can you help?
For $25 (or more), you can sponsor an inning for your family or friend, who is (or was) battling a cancer diagnosis. We will recognize them during the opening ceremony and between each half inning. The honoree names will also be printed in the game program that will be handed out that evening to all attendees.
The attached form has all the information and includes payment instructions.
PLEASE RETURN FORM AND PAYMENT NO LATER THAN MONDAY APRIL 25th, SO WE CAN BE SURE YOUR HONOREE IS INCLUDED.
There will be an opportunity to donate on game night as well, please be prepared with cash on that evening. The JV players will walk the stands with helmets for collection.
You may also send a donation through Venmo to @Fishers-DugoutClub.
Let’s all come together, in honor and in memory of EVERYONE affected by cancer, and help the Doran family Strike Out Kancer!
